Not always — but we try repair first. A puncture in the central tread area (not sidewall or shoulder) that is under 6mm diameter can usually be repaired permanently using a plug and patch. If the damage is on the sidewall, too large, or if the tyre is worn below legal tread depth, replacement is the safer option. We'll always be honest with you.

Slow punctures are usually caused by a small nail, screw, or piece of glass embedded in the tread, a damaged valve stem, or a faulty bead seal. The tyre loses pressure gradually over hours or days rather than instantly. We can locate and fix the source of the leak.

Our average response time across London is 30 minutes, but this can vary by area and time of day. We aim to give you an accurate ETA when you call so you know exactly when to expect us.

Run-flat tyres can only be repaired in limited circumstances — many manufacturers advise against it once the tyre has been run flat. We'll inspect the tyre and advise honestly. If repair isn't safe, we can replace it on the spot if we carry your size.

A correctly repaired tyre — using a proper plug and patch from inside the tyre — meets BSAu159f industry standards and is as safe as new for normal driving. We only recommend repair when it meets those standards; otherwise we'll tell you a replacement is needed.
